In association with Liberation Brewery who will be supplying two kegs of 50 guest ales, Jersey's annual Beer & Cider Festival is a paradise for the Island's beer lovers; an event not to be missed with an ever growing array of guest ales, craft beers and ciders available to suit all tastes.
Imagine taking a trip around all the very best pubs and bars, not only in Jersey and the Channel Islands but across Britain. This year’s festival is truly a social event not to be missed! We will have more than a selection of fantastic brews on offer and will host over 50 real ales and craft beers plus the full range of Thatcher's ciders. We will also have Bulldog Gin and The London Essence Company mixers for you to try as well, plus there will be a chance to sample some fantastic street food and listen to live music all whilst enjoying your favourite beverage.

A honey coloured, soft summer ale with a gentle honey and biscuit taste. Lightly flavoured with local Sussex honey.
Signature Pale Ale
Very pale in colour with a sweet malty foretaste, the finish is crisp and dry.
Pavillion Pale Ale
Created shortly after the brewery moved site to a tennis club pavilion, this pale ale has a big fruity flavour with a peppery hoppiness and a dry, bitter yet fruity finish.
A strong golden beer with a fresh hop character. This ale has a smooth taste with a balanced sweetness throughout.
A pale, thirst quenching beer with a crisp citrus hop character.
A blonde ale, well rounded with lots of fruity notes using Chinook and two other aroma hops.
A traditional Northern English ale that is chestnut brown in colour, gently bittered using English Fuggles hops.
A porter ale with strong toffee and malt flavours, dark ruby coloured with a very smooth and pleasant aftertaste.
A crisp blonde ale with sweet citrus aromas infused with real Mexican Tequila and lime which result in an exciting mix of floral and citrus flavours balanced by the bitterness.
Draught Burton Ale
A reproduction of the classic Ind Coope 'DBA'. A light amber coloured bitter dry hopped with Styrian hops.
A strong bitter, slightly darker than
Bridge Bitter, with a fruity barley wine flavour and a bitter after palate.
Old Bushy Tail
The first beer produced Bushys brewery. An appealing reddish brown beer with a pronounced hop and malt aroma, the malt tending towards treacle. Slightly sweet and malty on the palate, with distinct orangey tones. The full finish is malty and hoppy a hint of toffee.
Jack the Devil
Award winning, delicious and rich: chestnut coloured ale made from Maris Otter barley, and the finest English aromatic hops. Perfect balance of malty nuttiness and a fresh hoppy aroma.
Shuggy Boat Blonde
A refreshing, all English, blonde beer, with citrus flavour from generous late hopping with Bramling Cross and English Cascade hops.
The complex mix of malts and hops produces a well balanced mid brown ale, nutty in the mouth with a lingering hop and bitter aftertaste.
Beyond the Pale
Pale golden bitter brewed with finest English and German style malts for a rich flavour. Brewer’s Gold, American Cascade and Centennial hops give a strong citrus aroma and a dry pleasing finish.
A deep copper coloured traditional ale, brewed using six different malts and developing interesting flavours from the combined use of English and American hop varieties. All this goes together to make this a mighty mouthful.
A refreshing straw coloured bitter brewed with Devon malt and English hops.
Amber beer with a slightly spicy taste and a citrus finish from the late addition of Cascade hops
Bursting at the seams with American Chinook hops, which provide it with one of the most distinctive and captivating tastes you might ever try. With copious amounts of flavour and an abundance or aroma.
Goose Eye Bitter
A more traditional bitter with chestnut colours. Great session beer with extra hops for a good punch of flavour.
Named after Ravi, Shankar IPA represents a place where English craft brewing, oriental intensity and rock and roll meet. A seriously fruity, hoppy, pale beer with a clean, zesty finish.
Named after the Harpers brook which flows behind the brewery. It is a traditional English mid- brown bitter with a malty taste and slight hints of chocolate and citrus in the finish.
A pale beer brewed with two different New Zealand hops. A thirst-quenching delight.
Flavoured with the powerful New Zealand Motueka hop.
A smooth, massively flavoured 'Extra Stout Porter'. Strong roast malts dominate the palate, with hoppiness in the finish.
Crisp golden IPA
This lovely zesty golden beer is laden with Fruity & Floral aromas. A Citra hopped IPA brew will not disappoint in ease of drinking.
A dark full bodied quality porter with a lightly roasted aroma, and a smooth bitter chocolate finish. It has an ABV of 4.3% and is brewed with farm grown malt, Northumbrian water and English hops.
Golden coloured premium ale, single hopped with Goldings. An easy drinking ale which is not overly bitter and has a slight dry finish.
A fantastic pale golden beer - very thirst quenching lemongrass flavour. A complex recipe involving maize, wheat and barley malts infused with two English and three Continental hop varieties.
Hints of citrus compliment the soft biscuit, with a moreish finish. The traditional light golden bitter has had a makeover. Easy-drinking, good-looking and a beer for everyone.
A classic Yorkshire bitter. British malted barley and English First Gold and Goldings hops blend perfectly with a unique Yorkshire yeast to create a full flavoured, well balanced Amber beer with a superb hoppy finish.
A full bodied, black Porter, with a balanced hop aroma and rich blend of chocolate and roast flavours, giving way to a subtle sweet fruit finish.
Originally brewed to celebrate Mauldons 25 years of brewing. Silver Adder is a light coloured bitter with a fine hop and malt combination giving a refreshing crisp finish.
The Western Front
Subtle notes of coffee and chocolate permeate through this dark bitter, lingering after each sip and calling you back for more.
A right proper traditional Yorkshire bitter, copper in colour, bitter to begin with, but mellows once you get to know it. Best drunk wearing a flat cap (whippet optional).
A lager style beer with a crisp, dry flavour and citrus fruity aroma is ideal for drinking anytime, but is particularly well suited to the spring and summer months.
Amber Nectar! Brewed with Pale & Crystal malts. Malt biscuit flavour combines with wonderful hop notes from Australian Galaxy & Vic's Secret hops. Gorgeous!!
Knee Buckler IPA
A wonderfull golden IPA style beer - good strength and lots of initial hop bitterness which is matched with a little hint of sweetness from the use of Crystal and Caramalts, The aftertaste and aroma comes from a blend of American hops, Citra, Cascade and Columbus which gives a distinct fruity finish.
A session version of our best selling Dancing Dragonfly , hoppy and golden , but not as dangerous at the original 5% version!
Dark Side of the Moose
A delicious dark ale with a dry biscuit flavour from the roasted barley and a fruity bitterness from the use of Bramling Cross hops.
A golden refreshing citrus ale with a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
A crisp, malty session beer. Amber with a slight reddish hue and a dry bitter finish. Named after William Alexander Madocks who was the 19th Century architect of several notable local features around Porthmadog, including 'Y Cob' and Porthmadog Harbour

Amber coloured warming ale with a fruity taste and a malty aroma.
Baby Faced Assassin
Brewed with 100% Citra hops that create aromas of mango, apricot, grapefruit & mandarin orange, along with a lasting, juicy, tropical fruit bitterness, the Baby-Faced Assassin is a deceptively drinkable India Pale Ale that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
A combination of Maris Otter pale malt and fine wheat malt, give this refreshing beer real zest. Add fresh tasting Yakima Galena and Cascade hops and what you get is a fantastic beer that will hole any passing thirst.
This beer is dark, strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring.
Black Dub Stout
A black beer, smooth and well structured, brimming with roasted chocolate taste and aromas, from the combination of four different malts, producing a long dry bitter finish. It's as black as owt!
Unique blonde ale made using American fruity hops which gives it a unique floral flavour with a clean, biscuit finish but with a citrus twist throughout. The word Lupus is Latin word for wolf.
Classic amber Pale Ale, brewed for a rich juicy malt taste, topped by a fruity marmalade character.
Perfectly balanced light beer with a sweet maltiness from Maris Otter and Crystal malts. The grassy/citric aroma is derived from a blend of UK/European hops.
Our flagship beer. Winner of many International/National Beer Awards, for over 10 years. It is a well-balanced moreish beer, with a hint of citrus on the nose.

Tipsy Toad Ale
A light refreshing golden hoppy bitter. Maris Otter malt provides the biscuit flavour whilst Kentish hops leave a fruity taste.
A refreshing golden bitter brimming with character… not to mention citrus hops and fruit. Made with 100% Maris Otter malt, and brewed using a single variety hop – English Fuggles. A malty fresh vitality gives way to a full bittersweet finish… pure GOLD.
Citra Blonde Ale
Citra is a light and refreshing ale with malt, citrus and subtle hoppy notes.
The West Country’s favourite beer derives from pure Mendip Spring Water… notably bitter, clean tasting, refreshingly dry and distinctive. Classic amber in colour and made with 100% best Maris Otter malt (the Rolls Royce of malts), together with a blend of (never divulged) English hop varieties.
Butcombe Rare Breed
Maris Otter malting barley, aromatic Herefordshire hops and Mendip spring water create this distinctive, refreshing and clean-tasting PALE ale.
Named after the Japanese for cherry blossom, which is the nickname for the Japanese National Rugby Union team, this is a light refreshing blonde beer, with delicate cherry flavours and aromas.
